My first computer

The first meeting

My very first memory of a computer was a desktop computer that my family had in the living room. The year was 2007 and I remember getting introduced to the computer by my father. He teached me to draw lines, figures and colour in the program paint. I remember having so much fun playing around and making paintings of my family and friends. The more I painted and asked for more advanced ways to draw the bigger my interest became. When I was done creating my - what I would call masterpiece - I proudly presented it to my parents. But this was not new in the family. My father was and still is a I.T-supporter, which means that he taught me everything I know about computers.

My very own computer

My first computer was an Inno Game computer. This was a small computer made into a toy size, with few features. These features included playing games, learning abc and basic math and playing music. I remember playing with it together with my little sister, feeling like an adult.

Later, in 2008, I got my own actual computer in my room. This was an old CRT desktop computer with a 17 inch screen. It was huge, both the computer and the screen. It had this typical ‘90 tech look, which was boring gray. I used to love playing standard games such as minesweeper. But some of my favorite games were CD games such as Pixiline, Hugo and Magnus & Myggen.
