HOW IT WORKS
The location at Folkets hus in inner Nørrebro has two fridges. One which functions as a conventional fridge for food that needs to be kept cool and the other known as the dry fridge (not turned on) which stores all the food that does not need refrigeration, but needs to be kept inside to stop rats and other creatures from eating it.
Conventional Fridge (like a regular fridge) - what should be inside?
- - Dairy Products
- - Cooked food
- - Possible fruits and veggies (to prolong their shelf life)
- - Any other products that should be refrigerated normally
Dry fridge (like a cupboard) - what should be inside?
- - Fruit and vegetables that do not need to be refrigerated
- - Bread and pastries
- - Dried foods such as grains, flour, rice, pasta etc.
- - Potatoes and root veggies
- - All uncooked food which does not need refrigerating
If you’re in doubt, think about where you would keep it in your home/where is this product kept in the supermarket?
